LinkedIn carousels examples

A carousel gets one job on slide one: earn the swipe. Everything else about it is downstream of that, and it is the part most people skip straight past on their way to designing slide seven.

These carousels beat what their own author normally gets on LinkedIn, so the cover slide in front of you demonstrably worked. Look at how few words are on it, how large they are, and how often the promise is a number.

The best people to work with are the ones who stay curious and open to learning. 2️⃣ Be easy to work with ↳ Talent is great, but if working with you feels like a chore, people will avoid it. Make life easier for others, and opportunities will follow. 3️⃣ Be quick to admit mistakes ↳ No one expects perfection. Own your mistakes, fix them fast, and move on. 4️⃣ Be reliable ↳ The bar is lower than you think. Follow up, follow through, and show up consistently. 5️⃣ Be generous with credit ↳ Wins are rarely achieved alone. Acknowledge others, and you’ll build goodwill that compounds over time. 6️⃣ Be the one who does more than expected ↳ Get in the habit of going above and beyond. The extra effort is often what sets you apart from the pack. 7️⃣ Be the person who never stops learning ↳ Jobs change. Industries evolve. Those who keep learning and improving never have to worry about staying relevant. The best way to future-proof your career? Become the person no one wants to lose. You can't build a one-person business. People won't pay for your work. Making it as a creator is impossible... How wrong they were. Here's what I've learned over 6 years: The loudest critics are the most afraid. The biggest skeptics are the least accomplished. The harshest words come from those who never tried. The truth? Growth forces people to question their own choices. Achievement challenges their limiting beliefs. Success makes others uncomfortable. So they try to stop you. Not because you can't. But because they're scared you WILL. I built my business anyway. You should too. I recorded exactly how I did it inside of The Creator MBA. 111 lessons on how I built a profitable one-person business. (mostly here on LinkedIn...) From 0 to 60K followers on LinkedIn (What I’d do if I had to start all over 🤭) This year, I hit 3M+ impressions with $0 ad spend. I’ve closed some of my biggest clients through inbound leads. And built a beautiful community of clients, partners and most importantly — friends. If I had to start from scratch, here’s exactly what I’d do 👇 💚 0–5K * Optimise your profile like it’s your landing page * Define your brand identity & core positioning * Choose 3 content pillars to own * Write & post your first piece of content (yes, you can!) 💛 5–10K * Build a simple content calendar * Engage *strategically* (not randomly) * Post at the same time as bigger creators * Keep a “creators in my niche” list * Start genuine DM conversations 🧡 10–20K * Use tools like Kleo or Favikon to analyse performance * Study what makes high-performing posts tick * Track & learn from your own data points * Double down on what works * Launch a newsletter if you haven’t yet 💙 20–40K * Collaborate with other creators * Move further down your marketing funnel * Experiment with new formats (videos, ebooks, carousels) * Explore monetisation opportunities * Make clear, consistent asks 💜 40–60K * Revisit your positioning & audience * Build community, not just content * Expand into other channels (podcasts, YouTube) * Spotlight client wins & case studies * Start planting seeds for 100K The hardest part is getting started. But I promise it's the best investment you can make. Dream it. Then do it. Let's keep growing together ✨ ____ P.S. I'll be hosting a FREE webinar on 15th August to help you grow your personal brand. IKEA replaced 8,500 customer service roles with AI. And the company is now $1.4 billion richer because of it... But before you take up arms against IKEA, know this:  They didn't fire a single person in the process. Every single one of those 8,500 humans was retrained,  And became part of an "interior design advisor" service... That pulled in an insane $1.4 billion in revenue. This goes in the face of what every other company is doing,  With AI taking over the standardised tasks and humans redeployed for the rest. And it's probably the most genius approach I've seen. To sum it up, IKEA decided to: ✅ Use AI to clear the low-value work. ✅ Redeploy your people to the high-value work AI can't do. ✅ Build the new service line that humans are uniquely good at. That's how you build defensibility in 2026. We can't pretend AI isn't changing how we work... It already has.  But maybe not by replacing your entire team with chatbots. Instead, we can be honest about what AI is better at,  And ruthless about putting your people where they create the most leverage. AI can replace standardised tasks that don't require much brainpower. But humans need to be where judgement, taste and relationships actually matter. A lot of companies won't make this distinction, or they'll do it too late.  The ones that follow IKEA's example will build decade-defining businesses. I rebuilt my LinkedIn strategy from scratch. (How I went from zero to 115k+ in 494 days) My posts were getting little to no engagement. So, I decided to revamp my profile and strategy. This was way back in Jan 2024, when I first started. Since then, I've been on a journey: ☑ I gained 100k+ new friends. ☑ I created 815+ LinkedIn posts. ☑ I dedicated 494 days of effort. Here’s how I did it: 1-8. Profile Optimisation Start by optimizing your profile picture and headline. Zoomed in profile picture, using 400 x 400 pixels. Your headline needs to be compelling and clear. Use your About section to tell your story. Use your Featured to drive traffic. 9. Content Ideation Create a content calendar to plan topics in advance. Use my context ideation prompt in GPT-4o with Canvas. Keep content ideas in a running list as inspiration strikes. 10. Content Strategy Incorporate a content matrix strategy. Focus on TOFU, MOFU, and BOFU content. Post three times a week to maintain consistency. Continuously test and iterate content types. 11. Content Creation Write in a hierarchical format for better readability. Use 1080x1350 pixel images for optimal display. Include a strong call-to-action in every post. 12. Posting Content Incorporate your brand colors in visuals. Post Tues-Thurs for highest engagement. Keep posts under 1,300 characters for mobile viewing. Use "How to" or "How I" hooks for educational content. 13. Engagement Strategy Make a list of 100 creators Engage with them everyday 1/4 big, 1/2 same size, 1/4 prospects. Save lists in a LinkedIn boolean search. 14. Analyzing Content Export your data regularly. Upload to ChatGPT or Claude. Identify best posting days and content types. Adjust your strategy based on performance insights. 15. Repurposing Content Convert top-performing posts into multi-media formats. Test different content types with your audience. Maximize the reach of your best ideas across platforms. Use successful concepts in new contexts. 16. Sending DMs Use Sales Navigator for advanced filtering. Send 15 personalized connection requests daily. Follow up with creators and ideal customer profiles. Qualify leads before sending tailored messages. LinkedIn can be a powerful tool for growth. Showcase your best work and drive traffic. Follow Charlie for more. Repost to help others.

In 2025, there's one skill you can't afford to ignore: Mastering the art of prompting. Most people are still using AI incorrectly. They are asking the wrong questions,  And getting average answers. Meanwhile, the top 1% are turning it into the invisible engine,  Running their operations while saving them time and energy. If you want AI to 10x your productivity,  Start by elevating your prompts. Here are 8 that I use every week:  (Check the sheet for examples of each)   1️⃣ R-T-F Role: Specify the role you want the AI to assume. Task: Define the task you want the AI to perform. Format: Indicate the format in which you want the output. 2️⃣ S-O-L-V-E Situation: Define the context or situation. Objective: Specify the goals. Limitations: Define any limitations or constraints. Vision: Outline the vision or goal. Execution: Plan the steps for execution. 3️⃣ T-A-G Task: Define the task at hand. Action: State the action needed. Goal: Clarify the goal to be achieved. 4️⃣ R-A-C-E Role: Specify the character you want the AI to play. Action: State the basic instruction or the job you need to be done. Context: Provide the background information the AI will need. Expectation: Describe the outcome you need. 5️⃣ D-R-E-A-M Define: Define the problem or context. Research: State the research needed. Execute: How to execute the plan. Analyse: How to analyse the results. Measure: Define how to measure the outcomes. 6️⃣ P-A-C-T Problem: Define the problem. Approach: Describe the approach. Compromise: Write about potential compromises. Test: Define the test or measurement. 7️⃣ C-A-R-E Context: Give the context. Action: Describe the action needed. Result: Clarify the expected result. Example: Provide an example for clarity. 8️⃣ R-I-S-E Role: Specify the role. Input: Describe the input needed. Steps: Could you ask for steps to follow? Expectation: Describe the expectation. Once you learn how to prompt,  The potential for what you can do with AI is limitless. My team and I leverage AI every single day in content creation. I use it to write 5 types of posts that help me grow and convert... Which I am going into more detail tomorrow, at 3pm BST. Everyone's screaming "niche down!" But what if that's killing my reach? 2 clients asked me that recently. Here's what I've seen after 2 years of testing: Algorithms don't care about roles.  They care about what people find interesting. 👉 For those using organic media as the main driver:  Staying broader tends to be more useful. Talk about solving problems, not roles. Anyone who's felt the pain before will be attracted. e.g. "Marketing for B2B companies" 👉 For those using more cold outreach: Cold DMs, cold email, ads... Going narrow works for personalization + targeting. e.g. "Marketing for B2B SaaS companies in fintech" 👉 Bottom line: If you're just starting or choosing between options:  → Pick the broader option so they are easier to find.  → Niche down in the backend for outreach. Later, with more case studies, you can niche down.  It's trickier to un-niche if you started too small. ::::::: P.S. I applied to 100+ jobs.  And got rejected by every single one. People often see the success.  But they don’t always realise the grind. When I was building my career. I had to deal with so many "NOs." It was so frustrating. Because I had so much to give. To be honest, there were moments when I questioned myself. 𝗪𝗮𝘀 𝗜 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵? But instead of giving up. I decided to reframe my mindset. To change my perspective. I refused to be defined by my failures. I was going to forge my own path. So I decided to push even harder. To build the skill sets I needed to thrive. I put in long hours, nights and weekends. Learning, trying and experimenting. - Conversion Copywriting - Growth Marketing - Personal Branding Today, I run Close With Copy. 5 years ago, I had a dream. 4 years ago, I started side hustling. 3 years ago, I quit my job and went all in. 2 years ago, I decided to show up on LinkedIn. 1 year ago, I gave my first global keynote on stage. Today, I’m working with my dream clients at Close With Copy. Running a business I love. Collaborating with people I admire. Living the story I once only imagined. None of this came easy. In fear. In failure. In faith. There were countless moments I wanted to quit. When results didn’t show. When doubt screamed louder than belief. When the fear of being judged felt too overwhelming. But every time, I chose to keep going. One pitch. One LinkedIn post. One step forward at a time. It was choosing to bet on myself, again and again. And somewhere along the way, the small wins started to compound. The right people began to notice. And the dream that once felt far away started to take shape. Because one day, you’ll look back and realise — the nights that felt the darkest were the ones that made you shine bright. ✨ ….. P.S. If you’re on this LinkedIn journey, you don’t have to do it alone. 8 Choices I'm Making At 34 To Avoid Regret At 74: I recently turned 34, and I came to a few realisations. Who you become is just a result of the choices you make daily. Have you ever fallen for bad habits? Realised that you're slipping? Or perhaps you haven't noticed? They might seem small or insignificant. But habits have a compounding effect, good or bad. With that being said, Here are 8 choices I'm making at 34 to avoid regret at 74: 1. Treating healthy as the highest priority. 🧘🏻‍♂️ ↳ Your body is the car and your brain is the driver. ↳ Don’t take either’s health for granted. 2. Experience new stuff always. 🌿 ↳ Possessions fade, memories last. ↳ Life’s richer when you do more, not own more. 3. Reading, not scrolling. 📖 ↳ You want knowledge that lasts, not a quick dopamine hit.   ↳ Swap social media time for a book. 4. Consistent investing. 💵 ↳ Have a steady, diversified portfolio insead of get-rich-quick schemes.  ↳ Try some of the investments suggested in the carousel. 5. Saying "no" often. 🚫 ↳ Stop stretching yourself so thin.  ↳ Each “no” is a “yes” to something else. 6. Relentless curiosity. 🤔 ↳ Learning shouldn’t stop after school.   ↳ Try setting a growth plan at the start of every new year. 7. Slowing down. 🐌 ↳ ”Savour the little moments. They’re not little.” - Jon Kabat-Zinn.  ↳ Don’t get lost in the grind. 8. Help your former self. 🤝 ↳ What did you used to struggle with immensely?   ↳ Do something to help those in a similar position. What positive choices are you making today? Drop your knowledge in the comments ⬇️  ♻️ Repost this if you found it inspiring. And follow Chris Donnelly for more. I’m convinced the biggest reason I was able to build 4 multi-million dollar businesses was through self-confidence. How to build bulletproof self-confidence: You’ll never be confident if you care what other people think. But let me tell you a secret: 1. Most people aren’t thinking about you 2. Those who are, aren’t worth impressing So stop worrying and start doing. Your time is limited. Realize Everyone is Winging It I used to think everybody had it all figured it out. The reality? They were winging it just as much as I was. Once you realize this, you’ll lose all impostor syndrome and start taking swings. It’s you vs yourself, not you vs others. Accept Your Weaknesses The most confident people in the world don’t try to do everything. They find what they’re good at and love doing and triple down on it. They become the best at what they do. You don’t win by being good at many things. You win by being great at one thing. Take Action and Get Good You often don’t lack confidence when you’re the best at what you do. How do you get there? By doing the boring basics every day for longer than anyone else is willing to do. Impostor syndrome = lack of competence. Talk less. Do more. Measure Success on Your Terms Don't let others dictate what success means for you. Life’s too short to spend it pleasing others doing things you don’t want to do. Find YOUR definition of success based on YOUR values and dreams. The only competition is your past self, not others. Build a Community of Weapons Surround yourself with people who believe in you more than you believe in yourself. Find a community of smart, hard-working, positive weapons. You don’t get points for playing alone. Find your tribe and win. Have the Courage to Say No Saying no is anything but selfish. It means you truly value your time and pick things that align with your purpose. You weren’t put on this planet to be a people pleaser. Save your yeses for what matters most. View Challenges as Opportunities This is my favorite Stoic teaching - reframing every single obstacle as a chance to grow. When you do this, everything becomes a good thing. You relish challenges. You wake up motivated. You attack the day. Strong storms make tough trees. Be Fatalistic About Your Situation The only thing ever in your control is your reaction to the things that happen to you. Once you know this, you’ll move with a peace that exuberates confidence. Let go. Stop resisting. And let life surprise you with the gifts it has in store. — Elevate your self-confidence with our free weekly newsletter. I don't care if you like me or not. I'm rooting for you. We live in a world where there is a big enough pie for everyone to have a slice. But if you scroll the comments section of LinkedIn or X, you'd think everyone was out there fighting for scraps. Tearing each other down. Sh*t-talking someone's good news. Trying to turn happy people negative. Crabs in a bucket. Lame behavior. The most successful people I know celebrate everyone else's wins. They stopped seeing other people's success as a threat a long time ago. They know the pie isn't fixed. You don't win by taking someone else's slice. You win by becoming the kind of person who can make their own. And that part has nothing to do with luck or timing or who you know. It comes down to who YOU are. The patience to go long. The discipline to keep going. The self-belief to bet on yourself. Those are the things that carried me for seven years as I built my one-person business past $15M in profit. I put everything I learned into a new 30-page field manual for the digital entrepreneur. It's based on 250+ essays, hours of voice notes, and 10 interviews with other successful entrepreneurs. A silent killer for LinkedIn growth. This mistake stole 2 years of progress from me: I overthought everything. ・ I binged YouTube tutorials like they were Netflix  ・ I collected 1,000s of freebies ・ I created 10+ versions of my vision board  Then reality slapped me in the face: Even after all the "learnings" (but no practice)  I sucked! I’ll be honest. I didn’t know what I wanted to be when I was 18 (crazy, I know). I also didn’t know what I wanted to be at 25. Now at 32, I’m just starting to scratch the surface of my true calling. Society encourages us to lock into a career path at 18 or 22 because it’s the “safe” thing to do. But in reality, most of us have no idea what we want at that stage in life. It’s like dating. You don’t usually marry the first person you go out with. You meet different people, learn what you like and what you don’t, and ultimately find someone who complements you. The same applies to your career. Each position teaches you something new about yourself and what you value. This is where strategic pivoting comes in. Recognizing when a job no longer serves your goals or aligns with your values, and having the courage to seek out new opportunities that do. It’s not easy, I know. The sunk cost fallacy makes it scary to leave a job you’ve already invested so much into. But it’s better to admit you walked through the wrong door than spend your life in the wrong room. ——— ♻️ Repost this if it resonates. 👤 Follow me (Colby Kultgen) for actionable self-development content.

Don't speak poorly about yourself. Because you're better than you think. Maybe your business or content or bank account or life or whatever isn't where you want it to be. So what? The only thing that matters is that you're getting slightly better every day. Throw away all of the "overnight success" story nonsense you've trained yourself to believe is the status quo. And remember that most people take decades to get traction in whatever they're working on. The first 8 years of my business career were an absolute embarrassment. Fired a bunch of times. $35,000 in credit card debt. Living in the most podunk towns. It took nearly a decade to finally even dip my toe in what someone might call the "success water." I hope your career moves a lot faster, but if it doesn't, that OK too. If you're looking for a little help, I put together something free for you. I spent the last year analyzing 250+ essays I've written about entrepreneurship, hours of voice notes, and over 10 interviews with successful friends. I turned those into a 30-page field manual that walks through how I went from business loser to $15M in profit without destroying my life. There are zero hustle tactics and no "growth hacks." It's the 7 actual capacities that compounded over time to build the business. Free here: https://buff.ly/qyPzps4 Keep going. You got this. image credit: blue iris

2 years ago, I was frustrated working 9-to-5. Today, there are 200k of you supporting my work. Back then, I'd asked for a raise and been told no. So I started posting on LinkedIn. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't easy: I set 4am alarms to write posts before work. I spent lunch breaks commenting instead of eating. I batch-created on weekends while friends went out. For a long time, nobody cared. But I kept showing up. Jan 2024: Committed to posting every single day. Sept 2024: Hit 30k followers and quit my job. April 2025: Quickly reached 100k followers. Feb 2026: 200k. Still pinching myself. Every post was a tiny deposit. Honestly? Every time someone asks me to speak on stage, I still think they've got the wrong person. I'm just a kid who grew up with a stutter. Communication was never my strong suit. But building in public sharpened that skill. I don't see followers. I see supporters. Thank you for making it possible. Onward to the next 100K 🦩
